What it means for you today
- Carry a waterproof if you are in Scotland, Wales, north west England or the south, because rain is widespread.
- Allow extra time for journeys in wet weather, particularly where winds are strongest around Aberdeen and the Welsh coast.
- Dress in layers in Scotland, where daytime highs stay in single figures or just above 10°C.
- On Thursday 29 October, take care on the road if you are in the south, because fog can reduce visibility.
