Heavy rain today in the Southwest and Rockies

Denver is only seeing light showers today, but its turn comes next.

Houston and Dallas start the day foggy, so expect slow mornings on the roads.

What it means for you
- Allow extra time for driving in rainy cities, especially Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Atlanta and Miami, where heavy rain can reduce visibility.
- Take care in foggy places such as Seattle, Dallas and Houston in the morning.
- If you are flying through Miami, expect the strongest winds of the major cities.
- In the Midwest, carry an umbrella from Monday and expect breezy conditions.
- Dress in layers in the Rockies, where it turns colder.
